Welcome to the last day of the month. How’d it go? What goals did you achieve and what did you learn as a whole?
Are you making the time to look back and review, and to set goals for the coming month?
Did you know that next month is going to be awesome? It’s time to set your monthly goals.
There is a difference in the success rate of those who write their goals down and review them vs those that don’t.
Start with your month in review so that you can better understand the current situation. Sometime over the next day or two I invite you to take half an hour to ponder the following questions and write down your answers:
- What monthly goals did I achieve?
- What empowered me to accomplish these goals
- What challenges did I encounter
- How did I overcome them?
- What monthly goals did I not achieve?
- What kept me from accomplishing them?
- What unmet goals should I carry into the coming month?
- What can I learn from the month as a whole?
What are you grateful for? List at least 3 things. There are many scientifically proven benefits to gratitude which add up to greater business success as well as a better life. If you would like to incorporate gratitude into a daily habit then I suggest you have a look at the Five Minute Journal
- 1
- 2
- 3
Then set your goals and intentions for the coming month:
- Recap: My BIG goals for the year are…
- Yearly goal 1
- Yearly goal 2
- Yearly goal 3
- My FOCUS for this month is…
- Monthly goal 1
- Monthly goal 2
- Monthly goal 3
- What actions do I need to take to achieve this?
- What potential roadblocks are there to me achieving these monthly goals? And what can I do to minimise or eliminate these?
- How much money do I want to make this month? In both turnover and sales.
- What’s “in the bag” already when you look at your calendar? How much of your target income is already booked in?
- What do you need to do or sell to achieve your target? Break it down into services and/or products if it helps.
- What monthly goals would you like to achieve in March? How much money do you want to make?
- What’s “in the bag” already when you look at your calendar? How much of your target income is already booked in?
- What do you need to do or sell to achieve your target? Break it down into services and/or products if it helps.
If you do this monthly goals setting each month, you have a far greater chance of getting to the end of the month and feeling proud of yourself for what you have achieved. Next month’s review will be full of goals met and actions taken, setting you up for another great month ahead.
Let’s make it happen!
